You will find that the interpretation of your chart is written in simple
language, uncluttered by astrological jargon. If a statement appears to
contradict another statement, then you exhibit these opposite qualities at
different times in your life. For example, a statement that you are highly
sociable and gregarious and a statement that you prefer solitude seemingly
contradict each other; this means that you vacillate, and need both sociability
and solitude at different times.
The astrological factor that the interpretation is based on is also given. The
astrological factor is given for the benefit of astrologers and students of
astrology. If you are not a student of astrology, then obviously the factor will
not be meaningful to you, and you can ignore it.
If you find this interpretation of your birth chart interesting and informative,
you might want to discuss your birth chart with a professional astrologer to
learn more about the astrological influences on your life.

Chapter 1: General Characteristics
Your fundamental needs, values, and orientation towards life are symbolized by
the four astrological elements. Each person has their own unique balance of
these four basic energies: fire (warmth, inspiration, enthusiasm), earth
(practicality, realism, material interests), air (social and intellectual
qualities), and water (emotional needs and feelings).
Your "elemental make-up" is described below. Remember that most people are
"unbalanced" or lopsided, and if you are lacking or deficient in a certain
element (or elements), it simply means that you need to consciously develop that
aspect of yourself to learn to appreciate and/or to work harder in that
dimension of life.
Sometimes we overvalue the element that we are least endowed with, sensing it as
a lack within ourselves, but more often we neglect or ignore it. The qualities
described below will be reiterated and explained in more detail in the following
chapters.
You value order and security in your life and prefer dealing with known
quantities, following clearly defined guidelines in order to achieve your aims.
Reason rather than emotion rules you, and you think in clear, practical,
no-nonsense terms. You are uncomfortable with ambiguity, emotional impulsiveness
or extremism, and things which cannot be explained in rational terms. Even
spiritual or mystical realms, if you have any interest in such things at all,
must have either some scientific basis or be proven to you through your own
experience and practice.
You think a situation through thoroughly before deciding upon a course of
action, assessing and analyzing the matter carefully, and can be relied upon to
come to a fair, reasonable, and sensible solution to whatever confronts you.
You are able to handle practical matters very efficiently, using both deductive
reasoning ability and manual skill. However, it is easy for you to become overly
"adult" and to lose touch with the spontaneous, playful, vibrant, and childlike
side of yourself. You can become too organized and controlled, not allowing your
emotions or creative, playful impulses full expression, and a certain dryness or
emptiness will result. You need to learn to appreciate a certain degree of
"creative chaos"!
You are likely to be overly humble or unsure of yourself and to look to others
for inspiration, motivation, reinforcement, and approval. Tending to be somewhat
passive, you must learn how to take initiative and motivate yourself.
A lack of warmth (either physically, emotionally, or both) may be evident in
you, which can show itself physically as a low energy level, paleness and lack
of color in the skin, or a tendency to be easily chilled, and emotionally as a
marked coolness or aloofness with little spiritedness, joyfulness, or enthusiasm
for living. Eating warming, spicy foods, living in a warm, sunny place, and
using fire in your daily life (lighting candles, using a wood stove or fireplace
for heat) can help balance you. Also, spending time with warm, cheerful,
positive-minded people and developing a philosophy based on spiritual optimism
can stir up your own zest of life.
Positively, you are unlikely to be egocentric and have a capacity for great
patience and peacefulness.
You are a complex person, however. The description in the next chapter on how
you meet life and come across to others contradicts some of the statements made
above, for you do possess a highly intuitive, instinctive, and not completely
rational way of perceiving life. However you do not make important decisions
based solely on an emotional basis because, as described above, you are a very
practical person. You can be enormously sympathetic to others' plights and still
make an impartial, rational judgment regarding them.

Fire is Weak (F,E,A,W Scores = 3,18,20,8)

Chapter 2: How You Approach Life and How You Appear To Others
The following is a description of your basic stance towards life, the way others
see you, the way you come across, the face you show to the world. In Chapter 3
you will read about the "The Inner You: Your Real Motivation", which describes
the kind of person you are at heart and where your true priorities lie. Read
this chapter and the next one and compare them - there may be significant
differences between them, in which case "the inner you" may not shine through
and others are in for some surprises when they get to know you at a more than
superficial level. This chapter describes the costume you wear, your role in
life, while Chapter 3 talks about the real person inside the costume.
You are very strong-willed and proud, but intensely private and not easy to know
well. Behind your quiet exterior lies a great deal of emotional depth,
sensitivity, complexity, and also fierce determination. When you want something
you go after it rather quietly but insistently and wholeheartedly - and you
usually get it.
You are not a person who lives lightly or superficially. You want to live
passionately and intensely and are not averse to challenge, danger, or to facing
the darker side of life - human pain and struggle. You function well in crisis
situations and often seek them out, for you enjoy the feeling of living at full
capacity.
You are very intuitive about other people and especially about their unspoken
feelings and hidden motives. You usually have strong, immediate gut reactions,
either positive or negative, which prove to be correct. You approach life very
instinctively and are not always fully conscious of why you feel or act as you
do. You also have a very strong affinity with animals - an acute sensitivity and
a nonverbal kind of rapport with them.
In relation to others, you are rather cautious, sometimes even suspicious, until
you get to know and trust them - and trust doesn't come easily to you. When you
commit yourself emotionally to someone, be it friend or lover, you are intensely
loyal and devoted to them and you also expect the same kind of unwavering,
undying loyalty in return. If you are ever betrayed by someone you care deeply
for, you are capable of hating and retaliating with as much fervor as you once
loved. Nothing is done halfway. In fact, you are intensely involved and often
jealously attached to whatever you care about, be it person, idea, or cause.
There is definitely a streak of emotional fanaticism in you.
Because of your natural reserve, others may see you as something of an enigma.
You are quite self-protective and often defensive. You are also very magnetic,
especially to members of the opposite sex.
Despite the fact that your core self is quite a bit different from the face the
world generally sees, you have a strong desire to be seen and recognized, to be
acknowledged, and to have a significant influence on people in your environment.
You may do remarkable things in order to be noticed. However, you often don't
get the full recognition you wish for.
You have a rather generous, open, broad-minded demeanor, and you like to do
things in a big way. If you do this primarily to impress others, you will find
that many people prefer to avoid you. Even without meaning to, you can seem a
bit arrogant or preachy.
You have a sweet, appealing demeanor and seem instinctively to grasp the concept
that "you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar". Your personal brand of
charm is usually quite winning. You coax rather than coerce. However, if you do
not get what you want, you are likely to resort to insincere flattery,
wheedling, whining, or pouting rather than stating directly what you need, or
doing for yourself. You seem to need others' approval first.
You may well have been discouraged from freely expressing yourself, and an
overemphasis on being acceptable, conforming to certain standards and
expectations, and generally not getting out of line is apt to inhibit you quite
a bit.

Chapter 3: The Inner You: Your Real Motivation
Although you are intensely emotional and fervent in your loves and hates (as
described in the previous chapter), very often you are cool, detached,
objective, and dispassionate. Your emotions are difficult to arouse, but once
aroused you are intensely emotional, feeling love, hate, or jealousy with your
heart and soul. Also, your innate idealism (discussed below) may prevent you
from acting as temperamentally as you might feel.
You have strong views and can be zealous in defending your ideas.
You are a freedom-loving, strong-willed, and independent-minded individual, and
you insist upon living your own life as you see fit, even if that means ignoring
convention and tradition. In personal relationships you cannot be owned or
possessed, and while you are willing to share yourself with another, you do not
always adjust easily to the emotional give and take of a close relationship.
Though intellectually open, you can be enormously stubborn, opinionated, and
inflexible on a one-to-one level. You have strong convictions and feelings about
fairness and equality, and you try to live by your ideals, but your ideals about
how people SHOULD treat one another don't always take into account human
weaknesses, differences, and needs. You probably dislike sentimentality and
traditional gender roles and "games".
You are fair, intelligent, objective, rational and often let your head rule
rather than your heart. You seem rather self-sufficient and detached emotionally
because you are capable of putting aside your personal feelings and viewing
things dispassionately. But once you make up your mind on an issue, you are
difficult to sway and can be rather dogmatic.
You think in broad terms and are concerned with the world beyond your own
personal sphere - your town, nation, or even planet. You are likely to become
involved in community affairs, social organizations, and groups of all kinds, or
to have a keen interest in such. You enjoy being part of a group endeavor and
often find yourself organizing, managing, or supervising group activities.
Forward-looking and progressive, you harbor great hopes for the future. You stay
current and up to date, and respond to contemporary cultural trends, both in
terms of personal style and in terms of ideas. When young you were very
influenced by your peers and by group pressures and by all the "latest crazes".
You have an experimental mind and are attracted by the novel.
Your strong points include your concern for human welfare and social betterment,
your sense of fairness and democratic spirit, and your vision. Your faults are
your stubbornness and inflexibility, and a tendency to be very obtuse and
insensitive when it comes to personal feelings and human needs.
The urge to learn and to communicate is essential to you, and you express
yourself very well through writing, teaching or sharing ideas and information.
You are persuasive and fluent with language.
Restless and inquisitive, you enjoy being mobile and taking short trips and
excursions in order to see for yourself what is going on in the world around
you.
You aim high, dream big dreams, and have a tremendous sense of what is possible
for you to achieve. Overconfidence, grandiosity, lack of humility, and/or
extreme discontent in modest circumstances may be your faults. Generally,
however, your great expectations and enterprising spirit lead to success.
Business, especially when there is an element of risk and speculation, suits you
well.
However you also have a heavier side which keeps your optimism from becoming
ungrounded or overblown. You tend to seesaw between your faith, vision and high
aspirations, and your caution and realism (or fear!). You cannot and do not rely
on good luck or grace alone, and you accept the need for hard work. Your
doubting or "heavy" side is described below.
Realistic and practical, you set goals for yourself that are modest enough for
you to actually achieve. You are able to tackle long, difficult projects and see
them through, for you possess self-discipline, concentration, and perseverance.
You also have a strong sense of responsibility and are very conscientious in
fulfilling your obligations. Often you do things because you feel it is expected
of you.
Your emotions are very intense and you are excited quite easily. Love is very
important to you and you are constantly seeking emotional fulfillment, but you
will not waste time with casual relationships.
You feel spiritually bonded with your friends, partners or associates. You are
likely to have a good rapport and harmony in your relationships with the
opposite sex and enjoy spending time with your partner.
You have the ability to stand on you own feet and use the power of your own
personality to attain success. You need to be a leader and have a strong desire
to obtain power and authority. It is imperative to you that you be out in front
of the parade.
Maintaining contact with your friends and associates is very important to you
and you keep in touch with them through your shared interests. Your friends are
likely to be very supportive to you in everything you do.

Chapter 4: Mental Interests and Abilities
Clear, objective, and realistic, you are unimpressed by exaggerated claims or
promises. You insist upon being shown facts to back up any statement you hear,
and your natural skepticism often borders on cynicism. You approach problems
clearly and rationally and maintain your poise and objectivity even in the midst
of critical situations. Anyone seeking your advice is certain to get an
unemotional and unbiased assessment of their situation, and you therefore make a
good arbitrator or judge. You are thorough, conscientious, and disciplined in
your thinking, and have an aptitude for business, organization, and
administration. You are also a good strategist, and will plan and patiently
follow a realistic course which will lead to your eventual success.
Serious-minded and studious, you enjoy quiet time alone for thinking or reading.
Inquisitive and communicative, your mind seems to be "on" all of the time and
you are forever gathering information and sharing ideas. Your attention span may
be rather brief; you have many and diverse interests, and are easily distracted.
You learn quickly, are eager to pass on what you are learning and thinking
about, and may talk excessively.
You have a tendency to ponder and reflect on your thoughts. Methodical,
responsible and serious, you have a sound judgment. You are a good listener and
probably prefer to work alone. You also have a good memory and may do well in
history and science.
You are likely to concentrate on yourself a lot and tend to have melancholic
thoughts, at times even brooding over something. Preferring to be alone, you
always make sure to have your own space. Very self-reliant, you have a need to
work by yourself.

Chapter 5: Emotions: Moods, Feelings, Romance
You are very sensitive, cautious, and shy about showing others your feelings.
Though you may love and care for someone a great deal, you rarely express those
feelings openly and freely. Very often your love for someone will be expressed
by trying to help them, doing something tangible to benefit them, or serving
them in some way.
It is also difficult for you to receive warmth, affection, or appreciation, for
you often feel that you don't really deserve it or that "they don't really mean
it". You can therefore seem rather cool and aloof, much more so than you feel.
A deeply ingrained critical attitude often makes you difficult to live with. You
need to learn to be gentler and less of a perfectionist with others and with
yourself.
You may have done extensive traveling in your early years, or in some way had a
background which enables you to understand and identify with many different
types of people or cultures.
You have a craving for things which are far away and foreign or for things you
have never experienced before. You want to completely immerse yourself in the
feelings and tastes of a new place, rather than simply have facts or an
intellectual appreciation. Emotionally, too, you are restless and something of a
wanderer.
You crave excitement, change, and discovery, and cannot tolerate a routine or
lifestyle that offers little in the way of surprise or challenge. Excitable,
spontaneous, and enthusiastic about anything new, you may be perceived by others
as being too impulsive, especially in personal relationships. It is not easy for
you to make or keep commitments, since you don't know how you will be feeling
from one day to the next. Emotional freedom is very important to you. Your
domestic life can be very unstable -but you like it that way.
You are definitely not one to wear your heart on your sleeve. You care very much
about others' opinions and crave love and appreciation as much as anyone, but
one would never know it from your reserved and seemingly detached appearance.
Casual, superficial relationships don't interest you at all. You are cautious
and serious about love and really desire a deep, genuine, lasting love. You are
old-fashioned about courtship and love, and will remain faithful to your loved
one in good times and in bad.
You may be attracted to persons older than yourself, someone who is emotionally
mature and reliable and who can provide the security you desire.
For you, caring and affection must be expressed tangibly, and you love giving
and receiving gifts. You value luxury, comfort, and elegance very highly and
appreciate beautiful things. You can be self-indulgent and extravagant. Being
overly possessive of people you love and of your belongings is something you
need to beware of.
You are rich in feelings and have the ability to express them well. You have a
knack for making others feel good and are likely to enjoy a harmonious sex-life.
You also have a strong need to create and may have a flair for designing
fashionable clothes.

Chapter 6: Drive and Ambition: How You Achieve Your Goals
You are a "busy bee" - energetic, restless, and forever on the go. Your active
mind is always buzzing with ideas and you find it difficult sometimes to relax,
slow down, or take time to reflect and replenish yourself. You tend to live on
nervous energy. You can accomplish much in short bursts but projects that
require long-term commitment, stamina, and steady, persistent effort are not
easy for you. You often scatter your energies into so many directions and
activities at once that you cannot finish or follow through on some of them. You
need variety, change, and mental challenges.
You have a sharp and eager mind, and you enjoy games and competitions that have
a mental component. You like to match wits with someone else.
You often achieve your desires by your verbal skill, your ability to speak
clearly, vigorously, and convincingly for what you want. Your drive and energy
is more mental than physical. You use your wit, intelligence, communication
skills, social sophistication, and awareness to achieve your goals.
You are attracted to feisty, dynamic, strong-willed people, and you seem to need
a lot of fireworks in your personal relationships. You can be very combative, or
get involved with people who are. Ideally you will join with people who are
energetic and ambitious, but not too domineering or aggressive.
Dynamic, self-willed, and fiercely independent, you have extraordinary drive and
energy. When you want something, you want it NOW, and you act quickly,
impulsively, and decisively. Your impatience inclines you to be abrupt with
people and reckless. You need a great deal of personal freedom to do things in
your own way and do not happily conform to schedules, rules, or regimes imposed
by others. You are intolerant of authority and can be very rebellious. You are
very frank with others, sometimes brutally so. You may have an explosive temper.
High-strung and often nervous and tense, you find it difficult to slow down,
pace yourself, or relax. You are always on the go. You are restless, daring, and
experimental.
When you want something, you can be amazingly persistent and unrelenting, even a
bit obsessed, although quiet about it. In fact you may hide your deep purposes
and intentions even from friends. Whenever you do a thing, it is done
wholeheartedly and thoroughly -- and if you don't want to do something that
others wish you to do, somehow you'll find a way out of it. You're strong,
though subtle.
You have the patience and the stamina to realize your visions and bring them
down to earth, a fine balance between hard work and realism, and a positive,
hopeful spirit. You grow through following systems and plans, and taking one
step at a time. Overnight success or instant enlightenment is not what you aim
for. Your patient, well-balanced approach gives you credibility with many
different types of people, and you are apt to gain an excellent reputation for
being able to do big things without overreaching or becoming pretentious.
You are apt to receive much publicity and popularity through your professional
pursuits, for you have a way of winning the hearts and trust of many people. You
have an instinct for what the masses of people will respond to emotionally, and
this feeling-sense of what other people want enables you to succeed in sales,
promotion, and so on. Your career could also involve protecting and caring for
people, nurturing, "mothering" others in some capacity.
Your drives and ambitions in life may seem crazy or eccentric to the more
conservative people you know. There may well be no security or safety net (no
retirement pension, no insurance benefits) in the work you do. You are suited
for freelancing, or professions that involve lots of change, innovation,
variety, irregular schedules, and the like. Expect the unexpected and numerous
ups and downs in the course of your life. You may change course often, and try
many different things.
You tend to be somewhat pessimistic and may frequently feel frustrated and
depressed. Others may try to hold you back in the attainment of your objectives,
and success may come to you slowly but steady.
You strive to be at one with others, but somehow are not able to synchronize
your feelings or viewpoints with them. Feeling disappointed, you may prefer a
life in seclusion and away from other people.

Chapter 7: Growth and Expansion: Areas That You Enjoy
You cannot tolerate smallness or pettiness in any form, and you have a tendency
to exaggerate. Also, you have a wonderful sense of drama! You must live boldly
and heroically. Otherwise you feel you are simply existing and wasting your
talents.
The desire for personal recognition - or even Fame - and a need to do something
you feel really proud of, motivate you strongly. You have an unusual capacity
for fun and playfulness also.
You are very open-minded and deeply curious about distant places and ways of
thinking and living that are different from your own. The urge to travel widely
and to experience as much of the world as possible is very strong in you. The
study of philosophy or religion also interests you a great deal. You benefit
from your contact with other cultures, and you may be involved in linking those
who are far apart geographically or philosophically.

Chapter 8: Areas That Challenge You Or Are Difficult For You
You doubt your own intelligence and mental capacities, and you may work very
hard at studies in order to compensate for this. You are often overly serious
and disinterested in light or superficial conversation. Spontaneous
communication, social give-and-take, and making small talk are likely to be
difficult for you.
Fear of the unknown, of change, and/or of death may plague you. You strongly
resist changes and transitions rather than greeting them with curiosity or a
spirit of adventure, which makes them much harder for you.
On another level entirely, you are very careful about joining forces, and
especially your material resources, with others. You want to keep your own and
other people's property and assets very distinct.
Now we will discuss patterns of behavior which you instinctively and habitually
revert to when under stress - a mostly unconscious process and one which you are
apt to overdo because it is so familiar and thus easy for you. The direction you
need to follow in order to develop balance, greater awareness, and wholeness is
also described.
Your path lies in developing yourself as an individual, discovering your own
strengths and joys, giving expression to your uniqueness, and letting yourself
shine and stand out from the crowd. This involve becoming a leader, even though
your instinct is actually to be "one of the Indians" rather than the "chief".
When under stress you are apt to seek safety in numbers, to go along with the
group. Also, you may believe that striving to do your personal best and to excel
is wrong or selfish, but you should let go of this notion. Finding your own
center and doing what gives you delight and energy is the most worthwhile
contribution you can offer the world at large.
The arena you are most likely to wrestle with these issues is in developing a
personal vision or philosophy of life, whether this be through religious or
philosophical studies, a broadening education, or visiting and drawing upon the
wisdom in distant lands or cultures. Cultivate the qualities described above in
this endeavor. Long distance communication and involvement with foreigners is
likely to be significant to you.
The following are specific activities that will support you in your growth.
These may or may not feel natural to you, and often there is some feeling of
resistance or initial awkwardness about doing these things, but they are
important on your path to wholeness.
Your path to wholeness involves confronting the dark and hidden aspects of
yourself - bringing them to light and transforming yourself in the process.
Healing abilities develop as a result of your willingness to experience and
transform deep emotions such as grief, anger, and pain. Also, seeing the
darkness and pain in the world and helping to bring light to it without becoming
overwhelmed is a significant issue for you.
Your relations with others could be rather unstable and unreliable. With a
somewhat negative attitude and weak will, you avoid opposition and escape your
responsibilities. In association with others, you are likely to choose people
who are asocial.

Chapter 9: Originality and Imagination
Areas Where You Are Creative, Unique, Unstable, or Compulsive
You need a lot of freedom in your close one-to-one relationships and you may
experiment with nontraditional forms of relationships. You rebel against
conventions and restrictions when it comes to marriage or personal
relationships, and you're likely to choose a highly unusual, eccentric, or
unconventional partner.
You are a very idealistic person, and you want to see your ideals, hopes, and
dreams made concrete and real in the everyday world. You are driven to put your
ideals into action.
When young you may be rather aimless or confused about your place in the world.
In early adult life it is likely that you struggle to find ways to express your
imagination, fantasies, and ideals in your career. Work that involves
compassionate service (such as medicine or the ministry) may be your calling. If
you lack personal integrity and honesty, you quickly go to the opposite extreme
and you can con others through dishonesty and trickery. Music, art, film-making
or entertainment are also areas in which you are well-suited.
You have strong philosophical views and there are times in your life when you
passionately crusade for a cause that you deem noble and of utmost importance.
Although your intentions are good, you are not as objective as you think you
are, and your views are more colored by personal experiences and concerns than
you realize. Nevertheless, you can also be instrumental in bringing about
positive change if you can avoid being dogmatic. Also, you may radically change
or revise your own personal beliefs, even your most cherished convictions, many
times during your life.
You tend to have fantastic plans and may talk about them, but never get around
to act on them. Your mind seems to wander constantly, and you may also have a
habit of making promises to others and then not keeping them.
You appear to be somewhat cold toward your loved ones and may find it difficult
to show your affection for them. You also may expect your loved one to live up
to an impossible romantic ideal that he or she is unable to attain, leaving you
disappointed.
You seem to have nerves of steel and you are ambitious and courageous with a
strong desire for power. You impress others as someone not to be trifled with.
You have far-reaching plans and are likely to reach success early in life.
You tend to seek the easy way out to the solution of your problems and often may
be tempted to take a devious course of action. Your objectives are likely to be
self supporting and you may act ruthlessly or underhandedly towards others at
times.

Chapter 10: Generational Influences: Your Age Group
In this chapter we will discuss characteristics and traits of your generation.
Of course, you may not share all of the characteristics of your generation, but
you are greatly affected by the tone that is set by your generation.
The first topic is "The Subconscious and Emotional Drive of Your Age Group". In
this section we will describe a deeply felt urge, even compulsion, of your age
group. This deeply felt drive comes to the surface with great force and power,
and consequently leaves in its wake considerable upheaval and change. The second
topic is "The Ideals and Illusions of Your Age Group", that describes the
dreams, fantasies, and spiritual aspirations of your age group. The third and
last topic is "What is New and Different in Your Age Group", which describes
areas in which your age group tends to be innovative, inventive, unusual, and
also where it may be unstable and unreliable.
The characteristics described below may affect a group of people for anywhere
from a few years to about 30 years. There are one or more different astrological
factors described in each of the three sections below.
The Subconscious and Emotional Drive of Your Age Group
You are part of a 20 year period that is often referred to as the "ME"
generation, a generation that has a very proud and self-reliant attitude. You
are a generation that is very concerned with self-development and personal
integrity. Women's rights and minority rights are issues that your generation
has fostered and they reflect your concern with individual respect, integrity,
and honor. Your age group has a deeply felt sense that each person has an equal
right and opportunity to fully develop his or her inner potential.
However, your group also finds it difficult to be part of a team and a strong
egotism makes group efforts difficult; you tend to see the individual as more
important than the group. You also defy authority and often feel that no one has
the right to tell you what to do. The strong movement to refuse drafting into
the military is one example of your age group's strong sense of individual
rights and freedom.
Your age group has popularized the idea of self-development, and has contributed
a great deal to the development of individual potential as well as human rights.
However, there is also a tendency to be rather self-centered; others may wonder
how you can spend so much time developing yourselves and have so little time to
contribute to your families!
The interest in personal development also sometimes manifests as a fascination
with particular individuals and a great deal of hero worship. Every generation,
of course, has lots of idols, but your generation is particularly prone to
needing a specific individual to represent and embody an idea or feeling, and to
serve as a focal point of interest. Perhaps the most extreme example of this is
the concept of the guru that was popularized by your age group.
You belong to a group of people who will be the positive reformers and
innovators in society. Peaceful methods and new techniques which do not create
too much disruption, but which bring about fundamental and profound changes in
society, will be your contribution.
The Ideals and Illusions of Your Age Group
You are part of a 14 year group of people who have a very idealistic sense of
brotherhood and universal cooperation, which, among other things, fostered the
peace and freedom movement. Your age group is also interested in the spiritual
philosophy and ideals of other cultures, and is not at all dogmatic in its
approach to religion. You incorporate the approaches of other religions. Your
age group tends to have an eclectic approach to religion, utilizing elements
from many religious perspectives (e.g. Eastern and Western), and finds it
difficult to follow traditionally defined religious practices.
A gullibility and an unwillingness to be decisive and judgmental inclines your
age group to be easily deceived, and consequently many of the well-intended
ideals and goals are frustrated by a lack of clear purpose and direction.
You were also born during a period that lasted approximately 5 years and is
characterized by an unusually high degree of imagination, intuition, and
sensitivity. You are part of a group of people who are very inspired. Your age
group is rather zealous and enthusiastically rallies behind new visions and
ideals for society. You succeed in bringing a breath of fresh air into the arts
and religions, and you inspire new ideals and goals for nations as well. You are
part of a creative group that can do much to inspire a fresh vision and renewed
hope for others.
The entire generation to which you belong has tremendous opportunities for
spiritual rebirth and awakening. This will not be forced upon you or
precipitated by unavoidable events, rather it comes from an inner yearning and a
natural propensity to seek the depths.
What is New and Different in Your Age Group
You are part of a 7 year group of people who are progressive and creative
thinkers. Academic achievement is high and academic standards are higher with
your age group than with others. You are a curious and inquisitive bunch, and
many discoveries and clever insights are brought forth from your age group. The
love of learning never dies with your age group, and your curiosity and
inquisitiveness does not wane in later life, as is common with others.
