The interpretation of your astrology chart begins on the following page.
You will find that the interpretation of your chart is written in simple language, uncluttered by astrological jargon. If a statement appears to contradict another statement, then you exhibit these opposite qualities at different times in your life. For example, a statement that you are highly sociable and gregarious and a statement that you prefer solitude seemingly contradict each other; this means that you vacillate, and need both sociability and solitude at different times.
The astrological factor that the interpretation is based on is also given. The astrological factor is given for the benefit of astrologers and students of astrology. If you are not a student of astrology, then obviously the factor will not be meaningful to you, and you can ignore it.
If you find this interpretation of your birth chart interesting and informative, you might want to discuss your birth chart with a professional astrologer to learn more about the astrological influences on your life.

Chapter 1: General Characteristics
Your fundamental needs, values, and orientation towards life are symbolized by the four astrological elements. Each person has their own unique balance of these four basic energies: fire (warmth, inspiration, enthusiasm), earth (practicality, realism, material interests), air (social and intellectual qualities), and water (emotional needs and feelings).
Your "elemental make-up" is described below. Remember that most people are "unbalanced" or lopsided, and if you are lacking or deficient in a certain element (or elements), it simply means that you need to consciously develop that aspect of yourself to learn to appreciate and/or to work harder in that dimension of life.
Sometimes we overvalue the element that we are least endowed with, sensing it as a lack within ourselves, but more often we neglect or ignore it. The qualities described below will be reiterated and explained in more detail in the following chapters.
One of your basic challenges is to learn to empathize, to enter into others' personal inner experience with sensitivity and compassion. Real intimacy doesn't come easily to you. You're apt to think, analyze, and respond coolly and rationally even in what other people might consider a highly emotional situation, and this coolness or distance can prevent you from developing deep closeness to others. You need to learn that logic and reason are only part of the whole picture, and to respect your own and other people's "irrational", subjective, emotional experience, which is just as important as the "facts" of the matter.
Deep emotionalism is uncomfortable for you and frequently you will avoid, and yet be simultaneously drawn to people who express intense feelings and emotional needs. With your gift for verbalization, you may be able to talk about feelings without actually diving in to your own or others' real experience.
Becoming too intellectual and airy, too removed from the personal side of life, is a tendency you need to beware of.
As described in Chapter 3, you do have a conservative, down-to-earth, and practical focus in life. So, while you will entertain numerous theories and listen to many people's points of view, you always come back to what is real, solid, and proven in your own experience.

Air is Strong, Water is Weak (F,E,A,W Scores = 9,14,25,1)

Chapter 2: How You Approach Life and How You Appear To Others
The following is a description of your basic stance towards life, the way others see you, the way you come across, the face you show to the world. In Chapter 3 you will read about the "The Inner You: Your Real Motivation", which describes the kind of person you are at heart and where your true priorities lie. Read this chapter and the next one and compare them - there may be significant differences between them, in which case "the inner you" may not shine through and others are in for some surprises when they get to know you at a more than superficial level. This chapter describes the costume you wear, your role in life, while Chapter 3 talks about the real person inside the costume.
You are always questioning and learning, and you seem young and alive no matter what your chronological age, for your mind is always alert, curious, flexible and open to new experiences. You have a childlike enthusiasm for anything new and you learn easily, but you also get bored rather quickly. You can be something of a scatterbrain, for you tend to have so many ideas and irons in the fire that it is hard to keep track of them all. You need and crave variety, change, mental stimulation, and an active social life.
Articulate, clever, often funny and witty, you are always a refreshing and interesting conversationalist. You enjoy meeting and interacting with a variety of different people. You are friendly, flirtatious, and charming in a light, playful way, and no matter how badly you may be feeling, you never appear heavy or somber. You may seem frivolous to other, more serious souls. You have a sense of humor and a sense of perspective that prevents you from taking yourself or life too seriously. In fact, you may seem flippant or unconcerned about matters that others consider very important.
In general, you respond to life mentally and objectively rather than emotionally, and you may not empathize with people very much. You do not like to be weighed down with too much responsibility or with others' emotional burdens. Furthermore, if you cannot UNDERSTAND something reasonably and logically, then very often you would prefer to ignore it, including your own and other people's irrational feelings, desires, and needs.
Consistency and reliability are not great virtues of yours and your life is apt to be full of changes and movement due to your restlessness. You become nervous and fidgety if things are not moving quickly enough. You are interested in what is current and up-to-date, the newest trends in thought or style.
Your gifts are a quick mind, verbal facility, a flair for language, social sophistication and polish, the ability to communicate, converse, and build bridges between people and between ideas. You tend to become an incessant chatterbox or gossip if you do not have work or other activities that utilize your mental, verbal, and social skills.
Energetic and decisive, you assertively go after what you want. You are a doer and an achiever, with a positive "I can!" attitude. You are something of a whiz with words, or a fast talker, running over other people's objections or needs in pursuit of your own aims. You can be very convincing!
You have a dynamic personality and great ability to improvise, but are likely to surprise, perplex or confuse people in your surroundings constantly. Your somewhat eccentric, impulsive and hasty actions could lead to accidents if you are not careful.

Chapter 3: The Inner You: Your Real Motivation
Although you approach life with curiosity and a willingness to learn and try new things (as stated in the previous chapter), at heart you are much more stable, steady, and reliable than you appear. You are, in fact, quite solid though you can give the impression of being rather changeable. You're also not quite as flexible and adaptable as your initial impression would indicate. You can act silly or experiment with a lot of different things but you do not lose perspective and balance.
You are a steadfast and patient soul, capable of tremendous devotion, dedication, endurance, and constancy. The ability to follow through and stick with things is one of your greatest assets. Once your course is set, you pursue it tenaciously until it is completed, stubbornly resisting any attempts to sway you from your purpose.
You have a very practical nature and want to see concrete, tangible results for your efforts, and you are not one for spinning wild dreams that are unlikely to come into fruition. Most of your "wild dreams" have to do with material achievements, well-being, and security, for you have a great love of the physical world and you want to experience and enjoy it to the full. Though you will work long and persistently, you also have a strong sensual and comfort-loving side, and you want to enjoy what you have worked for. In fact, you can be enormously lazy at times and have a tendency to overindulge in good food and other earthly pleasures. You also love the beauty of the natural world and probably prefer a serene country setting rather than an urban life style.
At heart your needs are simple and you are easy to please. You have a strong desire for security, stability, and peace, and will rarely make changes unless you are forced to do so. You are not very demanding emotionally, though you do crave lots of physical closeness and affection. Because of your faithfulness, emotional steadiness, and gentle strength, others often depend upon you for support. Though you hate upheaval and sudden changes, you usually maintain your poise and equanimity. You also have an innate sense of harmonizing with nature, allowing things to grow and unfold in their own time, and the patience to nurture something into being - be it a garden, a child, or some creative project. You make an excellent mother or father, especially if you follow your instincts more often than "the experts".
You have three major faults: one is your bullheaded obstinacy. The second is your unwillingness to deviate from your safe, predictable routine. And the third is your tendency to always insist upon realism and undervalue the imaginative, speculative, and fanciful - in other words, you lack the ability to play with ideas and possibilities, to open your mind to the new.
You tend to get involved in the helping professions or in activities where your efforts are hidden, behind the scenes, unacknowledged, or unknown to the public. Asserting yourself or getting up in front of an audience may be exceedingly uncomfortable for you.
You often feel that you are at cross purposes with yourself, for your conscious intentions and desires conflict with your subconscious emotional needs and drives. You are pulled in two different directions. You have difficulty satisfying both your need to be an individual and your need for caring relationships and a sense of belonging. Also, you send out mixed messages so people don't always know how to respond to you or know what you really want, thus creating confusion or conflict in close relationships.
You are an original! You radiate a sort of electrical excitement about the things you are interested in, and convey this to others, but you get bored rather quickly also. You don't mind being a bit unusual or breaking a few rules either.
Your emotions are very intense and you are excited quite easily. Love is very important to you and you are constantly seeking emotional fulfillment, but you will not waste time with casual relationships.
You tend to think and act bravely and have a positive and firm demeanor. You have what it takes to make your own way in life. You may be a bit excitable, but never shy away from a good argument.
You prefer more serious kinds of conversation with your friends and neighbors rather than small talk. Because your communication is clear and concise, you can impress others by taking control of negotiations or business dealings.
You tend to impose your will upon others in a rather ruthless way, but on the other hand may also be imposed upon by others yourself. You feel a constant need to fight for leadership and have a great desire to become a public figure.

Chapter 4: Mental Interests and Abilities
Outspoken and direct, you are always eager to express your ideas and opinions and don't mind opposing the consensus and stirring up a little controversy. You have fresh, original ideas and much enthusiasm for anything new and untried, but once the novelty has worn off, you are interested in another new idea or project. You never seem to have enough time to do all you want to. You are very honest, speak decisively and convincingly about things you believe in, and are unable to pretend to agree with someone if you honestly don't. You may be somewhat deficient in tact.
You don't speak up readily, even when you have a lot to say! Also, your mind tends to drift and you find it difficult to study very factual material that doesn't have much color or imaginative appeal. Your intuition and first impressions are likely to be quite accurate, however, and you tend to depend upon this faculty in making decisions.
You scrutinize, analyze, dissect, and critically assess ideas before you accept them. You may seem judgmental, serious, and unreceptive to others' thoughts, particularly if they are frivolous or poorly thought out. You prefer substantial conversation rather than superficial, light, meaningless banter. You generally think deeply and carefully before speaking and wish others would do the same! Communication problems, like extreme reticence, stuttering, or interpersonal difficulties, may well be challenges for you.
Although your thinking is precise and logical, as described above, at times you can be quite the opposite. Periods of absentmindedness, building castles in the air, or ruminating over mystical, abstract, or imponderable subjects are also likely, as discussed below.
Your mind is intuitive, imaginative, colorful, and strongly influenced by imagery or fantasy. You see the world with the eyes of an artist or a poet, and the hard sciences and fields of endeavor based on concrete facts, rules or rigorous logic are not your forte. At times you are able to perceive things that other people do not, the "aura" of a place or a person for instance, while at the same time you apparently do not see and/or overlook things that are glaringly obvious to others. One problem you are prone to is you project your fantasies, wishes, and dreams on to other people or an outside situation, and simply do not see what is actually there.
Intellectually oriented, you comprehend things rapidly and are able to assess every situation just as quickly. At times you also can be impulsive and have a tendency to criticize others. You may enjoy riddles and the participation in quiz shows.

Chapter 5: Emotions: Moods, Feelings, Romance
You are not easily moved by emotional displays and can be curiously detached from your own and others' emotions. It's almost as if you could turn your feelings on and off at will so you should be careful not to leave the switch "off" too often, for you could easily become too impersonal. Family ties and attachments are not as important to you as they are to most people and you often consider your friends closer to you than your blood relatives. Certainly, your sympathy and concern extends much beyond your immediate family. In your personal relationships, you insist upon a certain amount of independence and the freedom to pursue friendships with as many people, of both sexes, as you choose. You do not appreciate a jealous, possessive partner.
You feel comfortable in an atmosphere that is open and experimental, and you have little taste for convention and tradition.
You work well with the public and have an instinct for what the public wants and will respond to. Having a "nest" is not especially important to you, and you may invest more of your emotional energy into your career or public life than in your private life. Providing for and caring for others in a professional capacity is very likely.
You genuinely appreciate and understand women, and are likely to have many female friends, a network of women who love and support you. It is relatively easy for you to attract companionship and affection, and there will never be a lack of either in your life. Children are very important to you also.
Your will tends to be a bit weak and you seem to lack courage. Somewhat slow to take action, you think that you will fail because of your inadequacies as a person. You keep your feelings to yourself and should guard against depression and pessimism.
You are highly sensitive to everyone around you and are subject to strange moods or feelings. You have a tendency to exaggerate and could have unrealistic ambitions that may be hard to realize. It would be wise for you to keep your expectations a bit lower.
You are subject to changing moods and tend to alternate between associating with others and being completely alone, seeking to regenerate yourself in solitude. You seem to be too critical of yourself and tend to generate distance between yourself and others.
Your sense of reality is a bit weak; you tend to daydream and lose yourself in your plans. You are likely to be preoccupied with fantasies or ideas that help you escape the ordinary. Always looking for ideal contacts, you may be drawn to philanthropic associations.
Your love feelings and desires are easily aroused but it may be difficult to sustain your romantic interest in a relationship after the initial, exciting "chase and conquest". You enjoy a partner who is dynamic and alive, someone with a strong independent streak, and you do not like things to become too peaceful or predictable in the love arena. You want to see sparks fly once in awhile, even if that means instigating a fight.
You often hide your affection, or find your feelings difficult to express or get across to the person you love. Being openly affectionate and trusting often doesn't seem safe to you. You may feel your love won't be appreciated or reciprocated. You may get involved in secret love affairs or fall in love with a person who is quite unavailable to you. Love and sacrifice often seem to go hand in hand for you - having to give something up to be with the one you love, or having to relinquish some person or some aspect of an important love relationship.
Your love feelings are easily aroused and your romantic relationships begin with a sudden electric attraction, but they often end abruptly, and you may be in and out of love frequently - especially in your younger years. You crave emotional excitement and need to feel spontaneous and free, so you may avoid making firm personal commitments. Unusual or nontraditional forms of love and relationships appeal to you, and you are attracted to unique, creative, or unstable people.

Chapter 6: Drive and Ambition: How You Achieve Your Goals
You are a "busy bee" - energetic, restless, and forever on the go. Your active mind is always buzzing with ideas and you find it difficult sometimes to relax, slow down, or take time to reflect and replenish yourself. You tend to live on nervous energy. You can accomplish much in short bursts but projects that require long-term commitment, stamina, and steady, persistent effort are not easy for you. You often scatter your energies into so many directions and activities at once that you cannot finish or follow through on some of them. You need variety, change, and mental challenges.
You have a sharp and eager mind, and you enjoy games and competitions that have a mental component. You like to match wits with someone else.
You often achieve your desires by your verbal skill, your ability to speak clearly, vigorously, and convincingly for what you want. Your drive and energy is more mental than physical. You use your wit, intelligence, communication skills, social sophistication, and awareness to achieve your goals.
Asserting yourself and being direct and forceful about what you want is very often difficult for you. Though you may have a great deal of energy and drive, you lack confidence or simply the desire to put yourself and your interests first. Positively you can be very unselfish, working more on behalf of others rather than for yourself.
You deny your own desires and needs too much, however, and you are likely to secretly become very angry, which will sabotage your finest efforts.
You have a positive, "can-do" attitude and tackle life's challenges with relish. You are self-confident and have a strong will to succeed, to see how much you can do and how far you can go. No matter what you accomplish, you do not rest on your laurels. You want to keep on going, to do even bigger things. You are forward-looking, enterprising, and enthusiastic about new projects. You are not happy in situations that do not offer you challenges and the potential for growth and expansion in the future - no matter how secure or satisfactory they may be in other respects. You enjoy competition, but you compete mostly with yourself, to see how much of your vision and potential you can really achieve. You make a good leader, inspiring courage and confidence in others. You usually enjoy good health and high vitality.
You feel benevolent and well disposed to your friends and acquaintances and find pleasant cooperation with them. You display an attitude of supportive kindness to the people around you and also may have a strong desire to live in a beautiful home.
You are capable of overcoming tremendous odds, and of enormous self-discipline and focus. When you set your sights on achieving something or are presented with a thorny challenge, it is your capacity for eliminating the superfluous, getting along with very little, and riding through tough times that enables you to triumph eventually.
To achieve your long-range goals and ambitions, the process must be interesting and mentally stimulating, as you get bored with work that isn't challenging intellectually. You need variety and social stimulation as well. One problem you may have is saying the wrong thing at the wrong time, or to the wrong person. You need to watch your words. Your tongue or even your sense of humor can get you in trouble with superiors at times.
You persevere through numerous obstacles, frustrations, delays, and setbacks in order to attain your ambitions in life. Sometimes it may feel as if you're pushing a boulder uphill. Try to avoid bitterness or comparing your lot to others', as these could weaken your resolve.
Indecision and confusion over your ambitions or direction in life may hold you back from achieving anything solid, especially in your early life. You're very much a dreamer and your interests and inclinations may not translate very readily into concrete goals. Personal glory or accomplishment can never be your sole motivation or drive in life. Ministering to others in some way may be your calling, however. Or you could use your dreamy, imaginative energies in creative ways -- the arts, music or entertainment field.
You may seem to have a magically easy road to success and public recognition. Doors open for you and opportunities abound. You may have more offers than you can follow up on. Mostly this is due to a positive and generous attitude on your part. You ambitions in life may have a spiritual component -- based on a concern for social betterment or humanitarian ideals.

Chapter 7: Growth and Expansion: Areas That You Enjoy
Material comfort, security, and well-being are quite important to you, and you are not one to have your head in the clouds when financial matters and future security are at stake. Your strengths are practicality, a love of the earth, and the ability to take great delight in the sensual pleasures of the natural world. Also, when you feel secure financially, you are likely to be very generous and hospitable.
You are drawn to social work, the ministry, giving your time and energy to charitable organizations, or to serving and helping the disadvantaged in some way. Your generosity and unselfishness will bring you and others much good.
You have a sense of rhythm and may be partial to dance, ballet or musical performances. Also very receptive to art, you may enjoy working in some creative art form. Constantly exposed to new ideas and techniques, you could achieve great artistic success.

Chapter 8: Areas That Challenge You Or Are Difficult For You
You take your personal relationships so seriously that they may seem more like work, constant effort, and compromise, rather than a free and enjoyable sharing. You may feel that relationships in general require more of you than they are worth, and you enter into any close relationship cautiously and conscientiously. You also fear entrapment in close relationships.
You take both your work and your health very seriously, but you may demand so much of yourself at work that you compromise your health. You can become a workaholic, not so much because you have lofty ambitions, but because you never feel like you've done enough. You are overly responsible or overly conscientious at work, so much so that you may not enjoy it at all.
You can also get overly involved in self-improvement or your health, and you tend to be a bit of a hypochondriac.
You take your ideals and dreams very seriously, and you go through periods of fervent dedication to a lofty ideal or vision. You have the ability to gain some real depth in spiritual or imaginative areas, but you also can become so involved in your imaginative, idealistic pursuits that you lose perspective and develop feelings of alienation and isolation from others.
Now we will discuss patterns of behavior which you instinctively and habitually revert to when under stress - a mostly unconscious process and one which you are apt to overdo because it is so familiar and thus easy for you. The direction you need to follow in order to develop balance, greater awareness, and wholeness is also described.
Your path lies in cultivating idealism and humanitarian feelings, being concerned with how your actions impact the world at large, perhaps becoming more aware of the social implications of your life style and personal choices or becoming active politically. Participating in organizations that support your ideals is one way to do this.
When under stress you are likely to become overly focused on yourself and your own little world.
Instead of "how will this benefit or hurt me?" your focus needs to shift to "how will this affect us all?".
Ideally, you need to strike a balance between doing for yourself and doing for others, by discovering how your unique gifts can contribute to the good of all.
The arena you are most likely to wrestle with these issues is in your public life and career. All of these issues will impact your reputation and standing in your community or professional circle, as well as how you achieve your important life goals and aspirations.
The following are specific activities that will support you in your growth. These may or may not feel natural to you, and often there is some feeling of resistance or initial awkwardness about doing these things, but they are important on your path to wholeness.
Care for and nourish children, plants, pets, or other people, make a home, create and sustain strong ties with your family or a community which can support and give you a sense of safety and belonging.
Develop your listening skills. Deepen your understanding and appreciation of women and of a woman's perspective. Learn to trust your own feelings, intuitions, and emotional needs. Care for yourself in an accepting, nonjudgmental way.
Take all of what is good and helpful from your past and use it in a new way. (If you are so inclined, you may want to explore the potentials of past-life regression to tap into gifts you have already developed).

Chapter 9: Originality and Imagination
Areas Where You Are Creative, Unique, Unstable, or Compulsive
You grasp new concepts quickly and are interested in new technologies, discoveries, and innovations. Unconventional ideas and creative, original approaches to problems are very attractive to you also. You are easily bored and may have trouble concentrating on one idea or task at a time. You have an inventive mind.
You have a sensitive physique and may have allergic responses and sensitivities to foods, medicines, or anything you take in from the environment. Emotional stress and confusion seem to affect you physically, even more quickly than they affect other people.
You have very strong creative forces and whatever you do, you want to do to the fullest. In love and romance, you get totally, passionately, even obsessively involved. In other forms of creative release and self-expression, also, you are very driven and you have a deep need to prove yourself. Your desire for personal recognition is compelling, and if you do not achieve creative success, you may try to force your children to fulfill your dreams for you.
You have great imagination, fantasy and inspiration and see everything in your mind in clear pictures. You are thoughtful and have a sympathetic understanding of others. You may have a liking for poetry, fairy-tales and fantastic stories.
You are inclined to have a rather passive emotional life and could be insecure about your life direction. Full of doubt and fear, you tend to question your objectives and your ability to obtain them.

Chapter 10: Generational Influences: Your Age Group
In this chapter we will discuss characteristics and traits of your generation. Of course, you may not share all of the characteristics of your generation, but you are greatly affected by the tone that is set by your generation.
The first topic is "The Subconscious and Emotional Drive of Your Age Group". In this section we will describe a deeply felt urge, even compulsion, of your age group. This deeply felt drive comes to the surface with great force and power, and consequently leaves in its wake considerable upheaval and change. The second topic is "The Ideals and Illusions of Your Age Group", that describes the dreams, fantasies, and spiritual aspirations of your age group. The third and last topic is "What is New and Different in Your Age Group", which describes areas in which your age group tends to be innovative, inventive, unusual, and also where it may be unstable and unreliable.
The characteristics described below may affect a group of people for anywhere from a few years to about 30 years. There are one or more different astrological factors described in each of the three sections below.
The Subconscious and Emotional Drive of Your Age Group
You are part of a 20 year period that is often referred to as the "ME" generation, a generation that has a very proud and self-reliant attitude. You are a generation that is very concerned with self-development and personal integrity. Women's rights and minority rights are issues that your generation has fostered and they reflect your concern with individual respect, integrity, and honor. Your age group has a deeply felt sense that each person has an equal right and opportunity to fully develop his or her inner potential.
However, your group also finds it difficult to be part of a team and a strong egotism makes group efforts difficult; you tend to see the individual as more important than the group. You also defy authority and often feel that no one has the right to tell you what to do. The strong movement to refuse drafting into the military is one example of your age group's strong sense of individual rights and freedom.
Your age group has popularized the idea of self-development, and has contributed a great deal to the development of individual potential as well as human rights. However, there is also a tendency to be rather self-centered; others may wonder how you can spend so much time developing yourselves and have so little time to contribute to your families!
The interest in personal development also sometimes manifests as a fascination with particular individuals and a great deal of hero worship. Every generation, of course, has lots of idols, but your generation is particularly prone to needing a specific individual to represent and embody an idea or feeling, and to serve as a focal point of interest. Perhaps the most extreme example of this is the concept of the guru that was popularized by your age group.
The Ideals and Illusions of Your Age Group
You are part of a 14 year group of people who have a very idealistic sense of brotherhood and universal cooperation, which, among other things, fostered the peace and freedom movement. Your age group is also interested in the spiritual philosophy and ideals of other cultures, and is not at all dogmatic in its approach to religion. You incorporate the approaches of other religions. Your age group tends to have an eclectic approach to religion, utilizing elements from many religious perspectives (e.g. Eastern and Western), and finds it difficult to follow traditionally defined religious practices.
A gullibility and an unwillingness to be decisive and judgmental inclines your age group to be easily deceived, and consequently many of the well-intended ideals and goals are frustrated by a lack of clear purpose and direction.
The entire generation to which you belong has tremendous opportunities for spiritual rebirth and awakening. This will not be forced upon you or precipitated by unavoidable events, rather it comes from an inner yearning and a natural propensity to seek the depths.
What is New and Different in Your Age Group
You are part of a 7 year group of people who have a strong need to feel unrestrained by family ties and personal heritage. Your age group tends to find personal relationships very restrictive, and also tends to feel alienated and distant from family ties and concerns. Forming long-term personal relationships is difficult for your age group, and divorce rates are high in your group. However, you are an emotional and sensitive group also, and this instability is painful at times. Finding personal freedom and closeness with others at the same time is a big challenge for you.
