The interpretation of your astrology chart begins on the following page.

You will find that the interpretation of your chart is written in simple language, uncluttered by astrological jargon. If a statement appears to contradict another statement, then you exhibit these opposite qualities at different times in your life. For example, a statement that you are highly sociable and gregarious and a statement that you prefer solitude seemingly contradict each other; this means that you vacillate, and need both sociability and solitude at different times.

The astrological factor that the interpretation is based on is also given. The astrological factor is given for the benefit of astrologers and students of astrology. If you are not a student of astrology, then obviously the factor will not be meaningful to you, and you can ignore it.

If you find this interpretation of your birth chart interesting and informative, you might want to discuss your birth chart with a professional astrologer to learn more about the astrological influences on your life.

Chapter 1: General Characteristics

Your fundamental needs, values, and orientation towards life are symbolized by the four astrological elements. Each person has their own unique balance of these four basic energies: fire (warmth, inspiration, enthusiasm), earth (practicality, realism, material interests), air (social and intellectual qualities), and water (emotional needs and feelings).

Your "elemental make-up" is described below. Remember that most people are "unbalanced" or lopsided, and if you are lacking or deficient in a certain element (or elements), it simply means that you need to consciously develop that aspect of yourself to learn to appreciate and/or to work harder in that dimension of life.

Sometimes we overvalue the element that we are least endowed with, sensing it as a lack within ourselves, but more often we neglect or ignore it. The qualities described below will be reiterated and explained in more detail in the following chapters.

You have two strong impulses which are somewhat at odds with one another but when blended can be highly creative and productive. On the one hand, there is the dreamer, the gambler, the idealist, the optimist who is full of hopeful confidence, spark, and creative energy. This is the side of you that believes in magic and extraordinary possibilities. Equally strong, however, is the conservative, practical, adult side which seeks security and stability, and which needs to be productive in a concrete way.

Having both of these urges can lead to some internal predicaments, such as: Should I take the safe, well traveled path which offers me security or one which is unpredictable but which offers more freedom and adventure? Is there a way for me to live my dreams rather than simply wish and hope and fantasize about them? Can I bring my dreams to fruition without compromising too much for the sake of the market place? Can I be an idealist who is effective in the everyday mundane world? How can I express myself freely as an individual, while also being responsible and taking care of practical obligations and necessities? Should I be generous, or careful and conservative? Should I play (and be more of a child) or work?

If you give up one side of the equation (for instance, opting for security at the expense of your creativity or your ideals, or choosing to spend most of your time playing and enjoying your own creative pursuits without making any tangible contribution to the world), you will feel unbalanced and unhappy.

Your challenge is to learn to somehow have the best of both worlds - to have an inspiration or ideal to aim for and to do something tangible with it. Or, put another way, to bring play and creativity and passion into your work. Your initiative, confidence and faith combined with your practicality would make you quite successful in business especially one of your own.

You have difficulty dealing with your own and others' emotions. Feelings and the emotional reality of a situation are often ignored or discounted by you and you may thus seem insensitive or uncaring to others. Deep emotional rapport, empathy, compassion, and sensitivity to the feelings of others is something that you need to develop, and will be in more evidence later in life rather than in your youth.

Though you may appear emotionally self-sufficient or above it all, your denied feelings can result in physical problems, so it is wise and important for you to learn to acknowledge and express all of your emotions.

You may also find that you crave a great deal of liquid, or to live near bodies of water, as a way to gain balance.

Chapter 2: How You Approach Life and How You Appear To Others

The following is a description of your basic stance towards life, the way others see you, the way you come across, the face you show to the world. In Chapter 3 you will read about the "The Inner You: Your Real Motivation", which describes the kind of person you are at heart and where your true priorities lie. Read this chapter and the next one and compare them - there may be significant differences between them, in which case "the inner you" may not shine through and others are in for some surprises when they get to know you at a more than superficial level. This chapter describes the costume you wear, your role in life, while Chapter 3 talks about the real person inside the costume.

Cautious, prudent, and rather self-contained, you are a person who approaches life realistically and who is not inclined to take foolish chances or get carried away by the overly optimistic or idealistic schemes of starry-eyed dreamers. In fact, you frequently have a jaundiced view of such things. You are rather worldly-wise at a fairly young age, even something of a cynic. Often the world doesn't seem like a safe, friendly place to you, and you tend to approach life in a guarded, conservative manner. You are generally calculating and careful, and are rarely spontaneous, fluid, open, and childlike.

You are pragmatic, shrewd, and an excellent strategist, carefully planning your moves for maximum effectiveness and advantage. You are willing to work long and persistently for what you want and you often do things the hard way. You do not expect others to take care of you and sometimes refuse or simply don't seek any outside help. You are often very ambitious, but quietly so. There is nothing flamboyant or flashy about your approach. You are very responsible, conscientious, and very concerned with your duties to others and how you appear in society, your "rank" so to speak.

To others you seem mature, serious, quiet, reflective, and emotionally detached. You dislike sloppy sentimentality and won't openly display your feelings, especially the softer ones. You like to always appear poised and in control and hate to show any weakness, vulnerability, or chinks in the armor.

You respect tradition and the time-honored way of doing things, and you feel there is much to be gained from studying history and also by learning from older, more experienced people. A wise mentor or father is often your guide in life, and you in turn develop a great deal of hard-earned wisdom which you like to impart to younger people.

You have a stern, authoritarian, no-nonsense aspect to your personality. You expect much from yourself and may not give yourself enough room to experiment and make mistakes.

You also tend to be rather close-fisted, to save and conserve your money and resources rather than spending, enjoying, or splurging with them. You spend money on things of quality and of lasting value, things which are good investments, but not frivolous, temporary pleasures. There is a bit of the ascetic in you. You have great self-discipline and self-control and can "do without" very well. Your tastes are generally understated and simple.

Though you may have other, more colorful and imaginative sides, the face you show the world is modest and rather conservative.

You may seem unpredictable and unreliable in the way you behave towards others -- or your personal relationships may seem constantly in flux, so that you are always a bit off center.

You also come across as an independent sort, someone who doesn't wish to be controlled or dictated to.

At times your feisty spirit, aggressiveness, and a too-forceful approach get you into trouble. You tend to take offense when none was intended. you may be viewed as a troublemaker, an upstart, or an egotist with little concern for others. Moderate your temper to avoid constant irritation with those in your environment.

Your intellect and your emotions are well balanced. You have the ability to manage your feelings superbly and have a cautious, adaptable and open way about you. You like to associate with the public and have an understanding for the man on the street.

You believe in good fellowship or comradeship and cultivate an active social life. Your meetings with others tend to be very harmonious and your participation in group efforts is carried out with vigorous and energetic cooperation.

Chapter 3: The Inner You: Your Real Motivation

Behind your rather pragmatic, hard-headed exterior (mentioned in the previous chapter), you are really an adventurer and a risk-taker. Your cool, conservative manner masks a much more fiery core.

You are a person who thrives on challenge, and you often feel that you must battle your way through life, depending upon no one and nothing but your own strength, intelligence, and courage. You believe in being totally honest, true to oneself and one's own vision and convictions, even if that means standing alone. Honesty, integrity, personal honor, and authenticity are your gods, and you have no sympathy for weakness of character in others.

You crave the freedom to do things in your own way, and you work very well independently. Cooperating with others or carrying out another's will is not your style. You like to be the chief -or to go it alone.

You love action and if others are settling down into a nice, comfortable little rut, then you are always ready to stir things up, do something new, make changes, bring in some fresh blood. Routine and sameness are like death to you. You are not afraid of trying something that's never been done before, and even though you may be seen as a fool sometimes, you also discover, invent, and initiate things that others will later emulate. Taking risks and following your own star are the breath of life for you, and you wilt (or get very frustrated and angry) if you cannot do this.

You are spontaneous, impulsive, direct, enthusiastic, and assertive. You believe in the power of positive thinking and positive action, and you think of yourself as a strong person -even invincible. You hate being ill or in any way in a position of dependency. Accepting your own human limitations and emotional needs is often difficult for you.

You are basically aggressive in your attitudes and have less facility in the receptive arts of relating to others, picking up subtle messages and nuances, listening, nurturing, and harmonizing. Often you are so fired up about your own projects or goals that you inadvertently run over or ignore other people's feelings and interests. Being receptive and appreciative of others' contributions, ideas, and feelings would go a long way in improving your relationships. Your impatience to get on with things causes you to be rather insensitive, and to therefore alienate others unnecessarily. You also frequently try to accomplish your ends by using anger or some version of a temper tantrum. You would gain much by learning to slow down, relax, and just let things be sometimes, but your energetic, restless nature rarely allows you to do this.

The urge to learn and to communicate is essential to you, and you express yourself very well through writing, teaching or sharing ideas and information. You are persuasive and fluent with language.

Restless and inquisitive, you enjoy being mobile and taking short trips and excursions in order to see for yourself what is going on in the world around you.

You tend to see things from your perspective only and to be rather subjective. You also enjoy talking and expressing your views but you don't always listen as well. You have a clear mind, a love of learning and new experiences, and need constant mental stimulation and activity.

You have a deep belief in your own power and your ability to survive any change and to emerge victoriously from any difficulty. You have tremendous inner resources and strength. Intense, strong willed, and zealous, you pursue your desires and goals with complete dedication and singleness of purpose, and you may be somewhat compulsive, even fanatical at times. You like to live intensely and have no respect for people who are weak, who avoid confronting life and their own destiny.

You have a strong need for intellectual contacts and associations and like to share your intellectual interests with others. This could be in meetings or by joining various clubs and organizations.

You have a strong will and the desire to be successful no matter what obstacles or resistance you have to overcome. Whatever you do, you know what you want to get out of it and drive toward that end with great vigor.

Chapter 4: Mental Interests and Abilities

Outspoken and direct, you are always eager to express your ideas and opinions and don't mind opposing the consensus and stirring up a little controversy. You have fresh, original ideas and much enthusiasm for anything new and untried, but once the novelty has worn off, you are interested in another new idea or project. You never seem to have enough time to do all you want to. You are very honest, speak decisively and convincingly about things you believe in, and are unable to pretend to agree with someone if you honestly don't. You may be somewhat deficient in tact.

Inquisitive and communicative, your mind seems to be "on" all of the time and you are forever gathering information and sharing ideas. Your attention span may be rather brief; you have many and diverse interests, and are easily distracted. You learn quickly, are eager to pass on what you are learning and thinking about, and may talk excessively.

You have a deep, serious turn of mind, and when out of balance, you tend toward pessimism, cynicism, and overly rigid or judgmental thinking. These are tendencies you may have to work to counteract, by choosing to focus on the humor in a situation, associating with cheerful, positive-minded people, and so on. Being around children can sometimes alter and lighten up your mental outlook considerably. Duty, obligation, "should", and "ought to" may color your thinking too much.

Although your thinking is precise and logical, as described above, at times you can be quite the opposite. Periods of absentmindedness, building castles in the air, or ruminating over mystical, abstract, or imponderable subjects are also likely, as discussed below.

Your mind is intuitive, imaginative, colorful, and strongly influenced by imagery or fantasy. You see the world with the eyes of an artist or a poet, and the hard sciences and fields of endeavor based on concrete facts, rules or rigorous logic are not your forte. At times you are able to perceive things that other people do not, the "aura" of a place or a person for instance, while at the same time you apparently do not see and/or overlook things that are glaringly obvious to others. One problem you are prone to is you project your fantasies, wishes, and dreams on to other people or an outside situation, and simply do not see what is actually there.

Your mind is deep and penetrating and you are interested in anything secret, mysterious, or hidden, including the deeper aspects of the human psyche. You possess an aptitude for private investigation, psychology and research work. You are also drawn to esoteric or occult studies.

Chapter 5: Emotions: Moods, Feelings, Romance

You are very sensitive, cautious, and shy about showing others your feelings. Though you may love and care for someone a great deal, you rarely express those feelings openly and freely. Very often your love for someone will be expressed by trying to help them, doing something tangible to benefit them, or serving them in some way.

It is also difficult for you to receive warmth, affection, or appreciation, for you often feel that you don't really deserve it or that "they don't really mean it". You can therefore seem rather cool and aloof, much more so than you feel.

A deeply ingrained critical attitude often makes you difficult to live with. You need to learn to be gentler and less of a perfectionist with others and with yourself.

Though you want closeness very much, you often close yourself off and do not really trust others who may wish to get to know you. You are very wholehearted in your feelings and responses to people, and you want all or nothing from the people you care for.

Serious and emotionally reserved, you were probably never an exuberant, playful child, and you rarely express yourself in a spontaneous, childlike manner. You are cautious about letting others get close to you and sometimes withdraw from people altogether. At times, even when you are with people, you feel lonely or isolated. Learning to appreciate your own company and to find satisfying solitary activities is essential to your emotional well-being.

You have a very attractive personality and love to socialize. Because of this you are very popular, especially with the opposite sex. You also have a sense of beauty and may be interested in some kind of artistic work or hobby.

Your health should be good and your recuperative powers are strong. You are able to express your feelings harmoniously and consider yourself wealthy either on material or spiritual planes. You are well liked and your relations with others are congenial.

You have a positive emotional outlook and cultivating spiritual relationships with others is important to you. You are likely to have a big circle of friends and acquaintances and love to give and receive social invitations.

You are open and unconventional in your attitude towards love, romance, and sex. You enjoy socializing, bringing people together, and having many friends of both sexes. You value friendship very highly and are, in fact, more comfortable being a friend than a lover. You desire an intellectual rapport or spiritual bond with your love partner, but deep intimacy and emotional bonding do not come easily to you. The role of "husband" or "wife" in the traditional sense doesn't appeal to you, and you abhor jealousy and possessiveness since you feel that no person truly "belongs" to another. You appreciate a love partner who will allow you plenty of freedom and is not very emotionally demanding.

For you, caring and affection must be expressed tangibly, and you love giving and receiving gifts. You value luxury, comfort, and elegance very highly and appreciate beautiful things. You can be self-indulgent and extravagant. Being overly possessive of people you love and of your belongings is something you need to beware of.

You are big-hearted and openhanded with both your money and your affections and you are not happy if you have to budget or restrict yourself in any way. Pettiness or stinginess is foreign to your nature and you feel most comfortable in an elegant, beautiful atmosphere. Asceticism is not for you. Gracious and charitable, you enjoy sponsoring social events or cultural activities. You have an optimistic, friendly attitude towards others and tend to bring out the finer side of people. You fall in love with someone who is successful, noble, and idealistic.

You are extremely sensitive to your surroundings and could feel highly elated one minute and quite down the next. You tend to avoid the truth about yourself and your relationships and could have some strange or peculiar experiences in love.

Chapter 6: Drive and Ambition: How You Achieve Your Goals

You are a perfectionist and have high standards for your own work. You often feel that if you want something done right you must do it yourself, for others do not do as thorough a job as you do. Doing a task well is very important to you, and you may labor over minute details that others wouldn't bother with. You strive for accuracy, efficiency, and precision, and you become very irritable when things are not done "right".

On the other hand, you can become so much of a perfectionist and so self-critical that you will not even attempt many activities and projects, feeling that your efforts simply won't be good enough. You are usually modest and realistic in assessing what you can accomplish and, if anything, you underestimate yourself. Of course, practice makes perfect, and if you do apply yourself diligently in some area, you gradually gain self-confidence as you master skills and develop expertise.

You conserve your energy and pace yourself so that you do not waste or diffuse your efforts. An unwillingness to take risks or venture from the beaten track can sometimes limit your opportunities. In short, you may not aim high enough and settle for too little in life.

You have passionate convictions and will fight for them when challenged. You are willing to dedicate a great deal of your energy and force to an important cause, and you'll act decisively on your beliefs, rather than simply espousing them.

Sometimes you get so involved and identified with your ideas that you cannot really be receptive to anyone who opposes you philosophically.

While you enjoy challenging yourself to extend your abilities or try new activities, you are apt to bite off more than you can chew. Failures or accidents due to overestimating your prowess or capacities and being overly eager and poorly prepared, may result. Fortunately these disappointments or blunders do not dampen your spirits or your ambitions permanently; you have a lot of resilience and optimism. Most likely you'll need to develop your physical coordination and sense of timing in order to do some of the activities you dream of doing.

Intensely restless, dynamic, and energetic, you are always on the go. When you want something, you want it NOW, and you act decisively, impulsively, sometimes hastily and prematurely. Impatient, high-strung, and often nervous and tense, you find it difficult to slow down, pace yourself, or relax. You are fiercely individualistic and independent, self-willed and intolerant of restraints and restrictions imposed by others. You have a reckless disregard for authority and can be extremely rebellious. Cooperating with others is not your strong point! You are often brutally frank and abrupt with people, and can be quite impersonal when you are pursuing a desired goal. You may have an explosive temper when your will is blocked. You have a superabundance of energy and need much personal freedom to do things in your own style and at your own pace.

In many ways your rise in the world is an easy one, aided by your personal charm and attractiveness, your ability to please people, and your excellent social instincts. Artistic ambitions are also an aspect of this.

You may seem to have a magically easy road to success and public recognition. Doors open for you and opportunities abound. You may have more offers than you can follow up on. Mostly this is due to a positive and generous attitude on your part. You ambitions in life may have a spiritual component -- based on a concern for social betterment or humanitarian ideals.

Because you have a very fascinating personality, others are drawn to you and may look to you for guidance and direction. It is easy for you to attain power and authority in life, and you most likely will be very successful in your career or occupation.

Chapter 7: Growth and Expansion: Areas That You Enjoy

Your strength lies in your ability to be innovative, open to new progressive concepts, willing to experiment and to reject customs and traditions when they cease to serve any positive function in the present. Also, you have an expansive view of the world, one that includes humanity and not only your own small, personal circle.

Wealth, material well-being, and prosperity are very important to you, and you would never choose a profession that didn't offer you great promise and opportunity for growth (financial and otherwise).

You are very generous and sometimes careless with money; you don't want to hold on to it, you want to enjoy it and use it to enrich your life. Whatever you do with your money, you do in a big way - making it, spending it, or blowing it! You may accumulate elegant, high quality things (art, jewelry, etc).

You have a knack for bringing new ideas and plans into fruition with less difficulty than others. Your positive, enthusiastic attitude attracts helpful situations and opportunities to you.

Your thinking is fresh and original and you exploit unexpected opportunities with great confidence. Optimistic and joyful in the realization of your plans, you are likely to achieve great success and sudden recognition.

Chapter 8: Areas That Challenge You Or Are Difficult For You

You have a penchant for order and precision, and an almost compulsive attention to detail. You are often hypercritical and can be such a demanding perfectionist that you discourage yourself or others from even attempting something that won't be done exactly the way you know it should be done.

You frequently over analyze or pick things apart mentally. You may be something of a hypochondriac also. You must learn that you do not have to rationally understand everything in order for it to be valid, and also to relax your unnecessarily high or strict standards.

Fear of the unknown, of change, and/or of death may plague you. You strongly resist changes and transitions rather than greeting them with curiosity or a spirit of adventure, which makes them much harder for you.

On another level entirely, you are very careful about joining forces, and especially your material resources, with others. You want to keep your own and other people's property and assets very distinct.

Now we will discuss patterns of behavior which you instinctively and habitually revert to when under stress - a mostly unconscious process and one which you are apt to overdo because it is so familiar and thus easy for you. The direction you need to follow in order to develop balance, greater awareness, and wholeness is also described.

Seeking interpersonal harmony, cooperation, and togetherness, and desiring to please or appease other people is very natural for you so much so that you accommodate them at your own expense. When you are under stress, you tend to look outside yourself for approval or answers, and you lean on others too much. Therefore, developing self-reliance, and the courage to look to yourself for your answers and forge your own path through life is a key factor in development.

You are often tempted to be less than completely straightforward about your intentions or desires, and you can become enmeshed in a swamp of "little white lies" and evasions. Radical honesty with yourself and others is the only way out! This, however, leads you to confront some of your most deeply ingrained fears, such as "what if "they" don't like me?" and "what if I have to go it alone?".

Cultivate your ability to be assertive, to take initiative and act on your own behalf. Directness and self-reliance are keys.

The arena you are most likely to wrestle with these issues is in the way you think, process information, and communicate. In your interactions with neighbors, colleagues, and acquaintances, try to bring out the qualities described above.

The following are specific activities that will support you in your growth. These may or may not feel natural to you, and often there is some feeling of resistance or initial awkwardness about doing these things, but they are important on your path to wholeness.

Develop true self confidence and the willingness to put yourself "out there", to be seen and to shine. Be willing to take on a leading role, to be a hero, to be a protagonist in your own story by cultivating the courageous, active, and positive masculine qualities you possess. Doing creative work that you are proud of - anything that comes from your heart and bears the stamp of your individuality - is important. Also, being a mentor, a helpful, encouraging force in the life of someone less experienced than you are is a way for you to grow and become more whole yourself.

You have a sympathetic understanding of other people and the ability to easily adapt yourself to them. Your emotional fulfillment is likely to come through your contact with others and you probably will feel a soul-affinity with many of them.

Your relations with others could be rather unstable and unreliable. With a somewhat negative attitude and weak will, you avoid opposition and escape your responsibilities. In association with others, you are likely to choose people who are asocial.

Chapter 9: Originality and Imagination
Areas Where You Are Creative, Unique, Unstable, or Compulsive

Your work habits may be unstructured and you may find it difficult to settle down to a routine task or work situation.

You are interested in new technologies or unusual, even revolutionary methods of solving problems in your work. Nontraditional methods of healing and medicine also fascinate you. You may work in an alternative health field or work for change and reform in whatever field you choose.

You love to dream, fantasize, and speculate. You are willing to entertain the most far fetched ideas and philosophies, since to you anything is possible.

Anything exotic, alien, or faraway holds a great attraction for you. You can have very otherworldly beliefs which are quite impractical and irrelevant to your everyday existence.

You are a person of great depth and have a deep interest in the hidden or darker side of life. Issues and experiences others shun, you are drawn to and compelled to examine. The use and misuse of personal, social, and political power intrigues you. Death is also an area you are fascinated with and may explore in depth. You may have many experiences in which you are forced to burn your bridges and start over again.

You have a great need to be independent and free. There is an inner rebellion in you that makes it difficult for you to be adaptable. Your domestic life could be filled with nervous tension and a tendency toward excessive demands made on the family.

You are a bit nervous and have a tendency to act rashly or hastily. Your ideas tend to change quickly and you are constantly distracted by new impressions. You are an independent thinker and always interested to learn something new.

You are subject to great tension one moment and suddenly released the next. You prefer to go your own way, but your attention span is short and you excitedly start something new and then just as quickly move on to something else.

Your are prone to sudden outbursts of anger and should try hard to avoid confrontations. It would be wise to release the tension you are feeling in a positive way in order to evade major problems, such as violent fights or serious accidents.

Chapter 10: Generational Influences: Your Age Group

In this chapter we will discuss characteristics and traits of your generation. Of course, you may not share all of the characteristics of your generation, but you are greatly affected by the tone that is set by your generation.

The first topic is "The Subconscious and Emotional Drive of Your Age Group". In this section we will describe a deeply felt urge, even compulsion, of your age group. This deeply felt drive comes to the surface with great force and power, and consequently leaves in its wake considerable upheaval and change. The second topic is "The Ideals and Illusions of Your Age Group", that describes the dreams, fantasies, and spiritual aspirations of your age group. The third and last topic is "What is New and Different in Your Age Group", which describes areas in which your age group tends to be innovative, inventive, unusual, and also where it may be unstable and unreliable.

The characteristics described below may affect a group of people for anywhere from a few years to about 30 years. There are one or more different astrological factors described in each of the three sections below.

The Subconscious and Emotional Drive of Your Age Group

You are part of a 20 year period that is often referred to as the "ME" generation, a generation that has a very proud and self-reliant attitude. You are a generation that is very concerned with self-development and personal integrity. Women's rights and minority rights are issues that your generation has fostered and they reflect your concern with individual respect, integrity, and honor. Your age group has a deeply felt sense that each person has an equal right and opportunity to fully develop his or her inner potential.

However, your group also finds it difficult to be part of a team and a strong egotism makes group efforts difficult; you tend to see the individual as more important than the group. You also defy authority and often feel that no one has the right to tell you what to do. The strong movement to refuse drafting into the military is one example of your age group's strong sense of individual rights and freedom.

Your age group has popularized the idea of self-development, and has contributed a great deal to the development of individual potential as well as human rights. However, there is also a tendency to be rather self-centered; others may wonder how you can spend so much time developing yourselves and have so little time to contribute to your families!

The interest in personal development also sometimes manifests as a fascination with particular individuals and a great deal of hero worship. Every generation, of course, has lots of idols, but your generation is particularly prone to needing a specific individual to represent and embody an idea or feeling, and to serve as a focal point of interest. Perhaps the most extreme example of this is the concept of the guru that was popularized by your age group.

The Ideals and Illusions of Your Age Group

You are part of a 14 year group of people who have a very idealistic sense of brotherhood and universal cooperation, which, among other things, fostered the peace and freedom movement. Your age group is also interested in the spiritual philosophy and ideals of other cultures, and is not at all dogmatic in its approach to religion. You incorporate the approaches of other religions. Your age group tends to have an eclectic approach to religion, utilizing elements from many religious perspectives (e.g. Eastern and Western), and finds it difficult to follow traditionally defined religious practices.

A gullibility and an unwillingness to be decisive and judgmental inclines your age group to be easily deceived, and consequently many of the well-intended ideals and goals are frustrated by a lack of clear purpose and direction.

The entire generation to which you belong has tremendous opportunities for spiritual rebirth and awakening. This will not be forced upon you or precipitated by unavoidable events, rather it comes from an inner yearning and a natural propensity to seek the depths.

What is New and Different in Your Age Group

You are part of a 7 year group of people who have a strong need to feel unrestrained by family ties and personal heritage. Your age group tends to find personal relationships very restrictive, and also tends to feel alienated and distant from family ties and concerns. Forming long-term personal relationships is difficult for your age group, and divorce rates are high in your group. However, you are an emotional and sensitive group also, and this instability is painful at times. Finding personal freedom and closeness with others at the same time is a big challenge for you.
